With a project narrative in place, the work of looking for appropriate funding begins…
It is suggested (see attachment) there are about fifteen potential funding mechanisms in place.
One way to proceed is to review the percentage mix of current funding and review where there are gaps in funding mix or possibly as yet unexplored areas of funding.
If this is a new project without funding, then it is possible to build a number of ‘cocktail’ models using a mix and match format.
A further approach is to begin with one mechanism, eg restricted Trust and during life cycle of project review sustainability and develop a fundraising strategy involving , eg unrestricted community events, etc.
